ABDUCTED ORANGE COUNTY CHILD LOCATED ON EASTERN SHORE AMBER Alert Helps Locate Child Within 27 Minutes of Activation ORANGE CO. ? A missing Orange county girl is being returned to her family following a Virginia AMBER Alert activation. Amiyah M. Dallas, 5, of Orange, Va., was located by Virginia State Police in Accomack County Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 19). The girl?s aunt, Olivia N. Dallas, 22, of Orange, Va., is being held at the Accomack County Jail on one felony count of abduction and one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle. Amiyah was last seen in the custody of her aunt on Feb. 18, 2014, in the 15,000 block of Mountain Track Road in Orange County. When the girl was not returned to her mother later that day and family were not able to contact the aunt, the girl?s family reported her missing to the Orange County Sheriff?s Office. During the course of their Investigation, they were able to confirm that Olivia had been spotted in Queen Anne?s County, Md., late Tuesda

INTERSECTION OF COURTHOUSE RD. AND BLOCK HOUSE RD., SPOTSYLVANIA CO., VA

The return of 5 year old Tyron Atkins occured on April 18, 2006, 3 hours after the VA AMBER Alert was issued by the Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Information Clearinghouse. As a result of the combined efforts of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office, Henrico County Police Department and Virginia State Police the AMBER Alert was successful. The abducted child was safely returned by the suspect unharmed. The media interest related to this Alert raised significant assistance by the general public and those that knew the suspect. This created pressure on the suspect to return the child in combination with good investigative efforts.
